ROV

This 6-page mini zine is about my experience and thoughts watching deep sea ROV dive livestreams over the past few years. Are the sea stars, and corals, and worms that I'm watching in real time go about their lives 3000m on the bottom of the dark, cold sea really any different than me? What is my responsibility to them? Ultimately, am I simply envious of them?
Illustrations feature dozens of species and well over a hundred individual animals–not labeled, sorry! You'll have to watch some of the livestreams to learn more I suppose. :)

Downloads include a PDF and printable file with folding instructions. This zine's original format is a 6-page folded mini and you can print out your own copy to fold at home!
(I highly encourage printing this one out if you can, as the illustrations flow over one page to the next, and it just reads better in physical format.)
